Today, before going into the questions, I have an exciting anouncement to make! I have been invited for a job interview with a job I
really want! It is at a large company, and I'll have the interview on Monday the 8th of June, it'll take about 3 hours for the entire interview which includes a test and some other things. Finally, as the weather is turning, so is my luck, for the best! Wish me luck! As always we do 10 questions today, any additional questions you can ask me down below in the comment section (anonymously aswell as not anonymously), on my
twitter and on my
instagram.
- Funniest moment throughout School?
I have no idea about this one. Something that always cracks me up was one time in highschool me and 2 friends were stood outside during the break. It was icy outside and there was quite some snow. I was stood up against a wall, having a chat. Then.. out of nowhere, I just slipped on the ice and fell down, without even moving. It really is a ''you should've been there'' moment. But it is the funniest I can think of at the moment, and like I said, it always cracks me up.
- How many countries have you visited?
I've visited: The UK, Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Italy, Denmark. So 9.
- What was your favorite/worst subject in High School?
My favourite was biology, I've always been super interested in how everything works. My worst was mathematics, which is why I got rid of it as soon as I could.. in hindsight that wasn't the smartest move, but it made me happy at the time.
- What is your Favorite drink? Animal? Perfume?
My favourite drink is tea. I absolutely love tea. Black tea, green tea, any tea, give it to me and I will drink it. I can drink so much of it, all day any day! My favourite is Milky Oolong, especially from Dille & Kamille.
My favourite animal is the Aardvark, it is a nocturnal mammal native to Africa. They're super cute and there's only one zoo in the Netherlands that has them and last year for my birthday my boyfriend and I went there to look at them!
I actually have two favourite animals, the other one is the whale shark. The largest fish! The biggest one they found was 18.8m (or 62ft), and they may live as long as 130 years. They're also just super pretty.
Perfume is difficult for me, it really depends on the mood. I absolutely love Chanel Chance which is flowery but woody and also spicy. Black Opium by YSL, which is very strong and perfect for a night out, or a day where you feel like a bad bitch. L'eau d'issey Pure by Issey Miyake, a very fresh fragrance with a lot of flowers. Perfect for a warm day! Sí passione by Giorgio Armani, a very strong and woody fragrance which stays on my skin for the longest time. Heat by Beyonce is also one that I love, it's more of a fruity fragrance than I'm used to, but it smells really nice on me.
My by far favourite though is White musk libertine by the Body Shop, which unfortunately is discontinued. It is the perfect powdery, sensual, warm fragrance that just lingers on your skin forever.
- What would you (or have you) name your children?
Okay, so.. I don't have any children, but have some ideas on names.
For girl names: Jelena, this is a name I'd want for myself if i was allowed to choose. My dad has a Serbian heritage and my current first name isn't very refective of that, or of my mothers Austrian heritage. I feel like Jelena is a very pretty name, it's also nice to write. It's the Russian variation of Helen, which in Greek means ''Bright, shining light''. Now since my children wouldn't keep my Serbian surname, I'd still like to express it one way or another.
Maria is also a name I really like, and apparently the one my dad would've given me, if he had a chance. Didn't know this until this year, but the name has been stuck with me for years.
I only really have one name for a boy, and it has a pretty funny story. I read through these questions and noticed this exact question. As I have baby fever, it kind of stood out. I spent the night thinking about it, as I had never really thought about boys names, ironically because when I was younger I'd want a son (figured they were less of a hassle). I came to the conclusion that James was a nice name. The other day I was at my boyfriends place and we were talking about children and about rights for men/women. He suddenly said but what if ''James (insert boyfriends surname) '' wanted so and so. And my breath stopped, my body shivered and my mind was blown. I wasn't sure if I heard it right so asked him ''What was his first name?''. ''James.. I uhh, I dont know, it was the first thing that came to mind.'' I didn't know what to say, what to do, but I smiled. I explained to him that James was the exact name I was thinking about. We always say that we're on the same line about a lot of things, and this was exactly that. I mean.. what are the odds?
- What Sports do you play/Have you played?
I have danced, I have played flag football, I rode horses for 7 years, I did karate and I think that was it. Now? Nothing.
- Who are some of your favorite YouTubers?
I absolutely love, Sips who streams more now but also has a channel with past broadcasts. His Skyrim playthrough from a couple of years ago I've watched atleast 7 times and still love it. Then there's Team Double Dragon. Who are Sips, Lewis and Pyrionflax, who I also love to watch on Twitch. There is Sorted Food. A bunch of mates from the UK that do food related challenges and are super fun to watch. I also watch a couple of jewellery making channels, and some make up artists.
- How many Girlfriends/Boyfriends have you had?
6 including my current.
- Favorite memory from childhood?
Probably our family vacation to Italy. My grandparents and my parents stayed in a small villa with an empty pool. My granddad and I would go and catch lizard every day, then eat some dried sausages in the shadow of the big tree that stood in the garden, and then take a nap. It was a huge thing for me, being 4 or 5 and going to such a warm, beautiful country. We would watch the bats fly over our house every night whilst the sky was filled with stars and toads hopped onto the path that led to the gate. One day we went to the beach and I saw my first jelly fish. All in all it was a pretty magical experience.
- How would you describe your fashion sense?
A hot mess. I wear what I feel like that day, unfortunately with my weight and body shape I find it very difficult to find clothes that I like and that are flattering. Lately I have been mad into full glam make up though. One thing that is really important to my outfits are my shoes. I absolutely love sneakers, dresses and oversized shirts.
- What phone do you have? (iOS v Android?)
I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S9, and was thinking about switching to the Huawei P30 pro, but now that there's issues with android/huawei I'm not so sure. I absolutely love android and have never had an iPhone. I really doubt I'll ever switch aswell.
